Repair Windows updates using Windows repair Tool

The Windows Repair Tool from tweaking.com is an excellent tool for repairing Windows components that are not functioning properly. It can repair nearly all components of the Windows OS including Windows 11, the famous ones being:

  • Firewall
  • Windows updates
  • Metro apps
  • Icons
  • Networks etc
We are concerned here with Windows updates only; the repair steps for others are also the same.
Download this from here:
Then, run the Tool, and directly go to the repairs tab:
Click the open Repairs button on the bottom right. Make sure registry backup is checked.
Now in the Repair window, uncheck all of the checkboxes as the check boxes ticked will be repaired.
We would just repair Windows updates. To do thisClick the “Open Repairs” button located at the bottom right. Ensure that the “Registry Backup” option is checked.
In the Repair window, uncheck all checkboxes, as the ones that are checked will be repaired. We only want to repair Windows updates. To do this, check the box labeled “Repair Windows Updates” (the number may vary depending on the version). Then, click the “Start Repair” button at the bottom right to initiate the process.
The repair process may take some time, depending on your system. Once it is complete, you will be prompted to restart your computer. After the restart, check if the tool is functioning properly.
Please note that the numbers may differ in newer versions, so pay attention to the checkbox labels rather than the numbers. That’s it! 🙂
