Windows 10 comes with many modern applications, such as Contact Support and Windows Feedback, which can be helpful. However, for some users who already have better alternatives, such as the Movies and TV app, these built-in apps may feel unnecessary. Additionally, having multiple apps for the same purpose can negatively impact system performance, as they often run in the background.
To uninstall an app like this, you typically need to use a PowerShell command, which can be complex and difficult for average users to understand. Fortunately, newer versions of CCleaner, especially those released after July of last year, now allow users to easily remove any pre-installed app. CCleaner is a valuable tool for removing temporary system files and internet files, making it an excellent choice for optimizing system performance.
The following are the steps:
- First of all download CCleaner from here and run CCleaner if you are on a 32 bit system and CCleaner64 if you are on a 64 bit system.You can either download the Portable or the Installer versions.
- After Opening,navigate to tools>Uninstall as shown here:

Now you would have a list of all the applications installed in your computer. Select the modern app you wish to uninstall and click on the Uninstall button on the left.

You would get a confirmation dialog and click on OK to confirm.

Repeat the steps for the apps that you wish to uninstall.
That’s it.I have uninstalled Xbox,help and support,get office,get skype etc etc apps which aren’t useful to me.
