First look of Microsoft’s next windows design out

Microsoft’s Windows 10 is based on Windows as a service, where the OS is continually developed and new features are introduced. Microsoft is currently developing the OS from the Redstone Branch. Redstone 1 is stable, which has been released to the public. Redstone 2 is currently in development. Microsoft has some large design plans for Windows and project NEON is one of them.

Project NEON – next Windows design

For those who don’t know, Project NEON focuses on more animations, simplicity, and consistency. A new component called “Acrylic” is being introduced, essentially providing a blurred background, sidebar, and navigation for the app.

Microsoft with project NEON is expected to increase more transparency as well. As this is too early, Microsoft may introduce more changes and remove one. Project NEON is expected to come with redstone 3, which would come into action after creator’s update arrives.
