First signs of Redstone 3 builds spotted
Microsoft is preparing its 3rd major update for Windows 10, widely called the creators update due this year. Currently, the update is feature locked as it is nearing competition. Since it is almost feature complete, Microsoft has shifted its focus to next production builds.
Redstone is the current lab from where the updates are arriving, Microsoft has the 3rd version of Redstone in cards for now. For those who don’t know, redstone 1 is Anniversary update which is currently in production ring. Redstone 2 is currently in Insider ring which is called creators update to be released later this year.
A while ago, we told you that Microsoft is preparing for a feature update in 2017. Now Microsoft has already starte.As reported by Windows build-tracking website BuildFeed, Microsoft has compiled Windows 10 Build 15141 from the rs_prerelease branch internally — and it’s one of the first Redstone 3 builds plans for this and Microsoft has already compiled a build with redstone 3 lab. The build no is 15141 as said. Microsoft hasn’t open its cards yet on this and more about it is expected later in Build conference this year.
