KB4043961 now available for Build 16299 Redstone 3
The Windows Insider team is now in preparation of delivering builds of Redstone 4 branch to public, giving the Torch of Windows 10 Redstone 3 builds to the servicing team. From now on, the servicing team of Windows 10 would work on this build to fix Windows bugs, reported by users and found by their teams.
Earlier Microsoft shipped 16299.15 that brought a number of changes to the OS which can be seen here, and going one step forward the team has released a minor cumulative update KB4043961 to Build 16299.15 that jumps the build number to 16299.19. The following changes are introduced:
- Addressed issue where, after removing apps, they’re reinstalled on every restart, logoff, and login.
- Addressed issue where localization of the error output from a JET database is broken. Only English error strings are reported.
- Security updates to Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Graphics Component, Internet Explorer, Windows kernel, Microsoft Windows Search Component, Windows TPM, Windows NTLM, Device Guard, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows Wireless Networking, Microsoft Windows DNS, Windows Server, Microsoft JET Database Engine, and the Windows SMB Server .
