What is Microsoft Office 2019 for Mac?

Why Microsoft Office 2019 for Mac is not Supported?
A bit of background: Microsoft has added a digital licensing certificate that Microsoft uses inside its Office apps to validate that you hold a legitimate license. This certificate is built into the app and has an expiry date of July 13, 2026. Once it expires, the apps can no longer verify your license is valid, and they enter what Microsoft calls “reduced functionality mode,” where you can still open, view, and print documents but cannot create, edit, or save any files.

This happens when support for Microsoft Office apps is no longer continued for older operating systems or devices.
This issue affects both Microsoft 365 subscribers on macOS, iPhone, and iPad, and those with non-subscription software, including Office 2021 or Office 2019 on macOS. For most users, updating your OS, and updating your apps will resolve it.
